Total cost of all subscriptions: $4,604 per year.

What's included:

How to use the extension:

  • Paywall Remover
Simply install the extension and go to any article that you want to read. This will occur automatically and for every website that you go on.
  • Archive Buttons
If the paywall is still there, you can use the archive buttons. These are the buttons that are located under the “Open tab in” section and there should be three of them: Archive.today, Google Webcache, and Wayback machine. Each button will open the archived version of the article for that respective archive. The archived version of the article should not have a paywall and thus will allow you to read the article.
  • Clear Cookies and Browser Cache
Lastly, there is the option to clear the user cookies and cache. This also allows the paywall to be removed as websites offer some amount of free articles before they show a paywall, so by clearing your cookies websites are not able to track you and reset the amount of free articles that can be read. To use this feature simply click the “Clear Cookies” button at the bottom of the extension.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why is the extension not on the Chrome Web Store?
Recently Chrome announced that after June 2022, extensions with manifest version 2 (also called MV2) will no longer be allowed to be put on the Chrome webstore. The manifest version in a chrome extension allows the chrome extension to perform certain tasks for the user. As such, this extension will only work in MV2 but the functions that it needs to work are not available in MV3 as such, this extension cannot be put on the Chrome Webstore. For more information feel free to read this article: Link.
  2. On what websites does this extension work on?
This is hard to answer. The extension works on dozens of news websites that have a soft paywall including Bloomberg and Harvard Business Review. Additionally, if it does not work, the extension allows users to open an archive of the page which should be without a paywall. As such, in some cases the extension would automatically work and in other cases the archive of the page might work so there is no definitive answer. I would suggest trying the online demo (However, the online demo does not work as well as the chrome extension) or testing the Chrome extension for a few days and seeing if it works for the websites that you want. If you don’t enjoy it, we offer full refunds within 30 days of the purchase.
  3. What is the refund policy?
If you do not like the extension, we offer full refunds within 30 days of the purchase.
  4. How do I get a refund?
To get a refund please send an email to removepaywall.contact@gmail.com.
  5. How do I install the extension?
Follow this link or go to “ https://www.removepaywall.com/install ” to view the instructions for how to install and use the extension.
  6. Can I share this with anyone else?
No. This product has a private license. For bulk purchases or enterprise, contact removepaywall.contact@gmail.com
  7. Does the Chrome extension have ads?
No, there are no ads on the chrome extension?
  8. How does it work?
Because each website is different, this extension uses a variety of different methods to remove a paywall or login page. The first method is to delete the element using javascript. By deleting the paywall, there is nothing left to hide the article. After, the extension can try to disable javascript for that page or delete certain js script tags that prevent the paywall from loading. The last main method is to try to clear the cache of the user. These methods are all done automatically so no need to worry if you don't understand how they work. Likewise, if the paywall is still there, you can use the archive buttons. These are the buttons that are located under the “Open tab in” section and there should be three of them: Archive.today, Google Webcache, and Wayback machine. Each button will open the archived version of the article for that respective archive. The archived version of the article should not have a paywall and thus will allow you to read the article.
